Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: September 11, 2026

Location: Mayfield Heights, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). Schedule options limited to Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday combinations only.

Highlights:

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a well-established healthcare facility
• Consistent night shift schedule with weekend coverage
• Contract extension opportunities available for up to 18 months
• ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments completed during orientation
• Pre-start modules required (average 6-15 hours; 4 hours billable)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact license in hand at time of application
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director from the past 12 months required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
• Clear background check with no open cases; no license violations
• Completion of BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
