A specialized opportunity is available for a pharmacist with expertise in hospital and pediatric pharmacy to support a leading children’s hospital. This travel position offers an engaging environment where pediatric pharmacy skills are highly valued, and inpatient care is the focus.

Work Schedule:

• Night shift from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 7 days on followed by 7 days off
• Potential transition to day shift later in the year (to cover an FMLA leave through January 13, 2027)

Location: Spring, TX
Assignment Length: 6 months, starting ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pharmaceutical care for pediatric inpatients
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems efficiently for medication management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Participate actively in medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory control during night shifts
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license
• Proven experience in hospital pharmacy, particularly inpatient settings
• Pediatric pharmacy experience preferred to meet patient care needs
• Proficient with EPIC electronic health record system and Pyxis medication dispensing technology
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during night shifts
