Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together.YOUR MISSION As a Subcontract Manager at True Anomaly, you will report to the Senior Director, Supply Chain and serve as a trusted partner in building and managing the subcontracting function that enables successful program execution. You will structure agreements, manage supplier performance, and integrate subcontracted work across cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance — helping power the development of our groundbreaking technologies that redefine space security. RESPONSIBILITIES Support operational functions in developing and executing subcontracting strategies aligned with program and production goals, balancing speed, capability, cost, and riskLead negotiation and management of subcontracts, SOWs, NDAs, and change orders, ensuring clear scope, deliverables, schedules, pricing, and acceptance criteriaDrive contract structures that incentivize performance and accountability, and own the development and maintenance of standard subcontract templatesPartner with Legal and Program teams to manage contractual and execution risk, including compliance with ITAR, export control, security, and customer regulatory requirementsManage subcontractor performance across cost, schedule, quality, and execution — establishing KPIs, reporting cadences, and escalation paths Identify risks early and drive mitigation plans, ensuring operational continuity across subcontracted workLead regular reviews with strategic subcontractors to address program needs, priorities, and production readinessServe as the primary interface between subcontractors and internal teams, ensuring subcontract activities are integrated into program schedules and milestonesCollaborate with Program Management, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to resolve issues quickly and align subcontract activities with project timelines and budgetsTrack subcontract budgets, commitments, and financial performance, and ensure timely payments in accordance with contract termsMaintain subcontract documentation and audit readiness in support of compliance and financial oversight QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field7+ years of subcontract or supply chain management experience, ideally in aerospace, defense, or technology manufacturingProven track record of negotiating and managing complex subcontract agreements in a fast-paced, program-driven environmentDeep understanding of subcontracting principles including SOW development, pricing structures, risk allocation, and supplier performance managementFamiliarity with regulatory requirements in Aerospace & Defense, including ITAR, DFARS, FAR, and export control complianceExceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a desire to collaborate across technical, operational, and business teamsResults-driven mindset with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach to closing issues and driving accountabilityAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a dynamic, startup environment COMPENSATIONBase Salary: $85,000-$165,000Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.
