PCL’s total rewards are designed to support your growth, well-being and future success—because when you succeed, we all do.Our offerings could include:Employee ownership opportunities that build long-term valueAnnual discretionary performance bonuses401(k) with company matchIndustry-leading medical, dental and vision benefitsPrescription drug coverage and telemedicine servicesLife, AD&D and disability insurancePaid parental leave and family care supportHSA or FSA for healthcare, dependent care and transportationMental health and wellness support, including Employee Assistance ProgramsCareer growth pathways, leadership development and mentorship programsAccess to world-class training through PCL’s College of Construction and professional development coursesOngoing opportunities to learn new skills, explore different roles and grow your career across sectors and regionsHere's how a Quality Supervisor for PCL Construction Services, Inc. within Denver contributes to our team:ResponsibilitiesReviews prime contract and subcontract details for specifications and requirements, identifies quality requirements and ensures that quality activities align with project scope as per the terms and conditions.Performs visual examination, witnesses, monitors, and documents results as per project specifications and Inspection testing plans (ITPs).Collects and compiles quality turnover documentation.Act as a liaison with craft/staff personnel and quality manager to provide technical assistance and guidance as needed.Identifies and discerns root causes associated with nonconformances reports (NCRs) and presents to the quality and project team.Develops and implements the project quality plan, (ITPs) in alignment with project specifications.Actively plans, coordinates, and participates in Quality Assurance/Quality Coordinator (QA/QC) task planning activities with construction activities.Leads meetings with the quality team as required.Liaises with clients’ field QA/QC representatives, third-party testing agencies, and trade contractor quality personnel.Ensures supplier and vendors adhere to project specifications, including verification of delivered materials.QualificationsCraftsperson certificate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.5 years proven experience in quality control and/or the construction industry, including supervisory and leadership experience preferred.Solid understanding of construction industry; understands specifications, drawings methods, and procedures.Excellent construction inspection skills on a broad range of scopes of work.Knowledge of various engineering systems, principles, and practices.Good understanding of and ability to interpret construction industry codes.Familiar with planning and sequencing concepts.Ability to identify quality risks associated with the project.Ability to interpret plans and specifications, visualizing two-dimensional drawings in three dimensions.Experience with internal project-quality assessments.Demonstrate planning, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize own work, and delegate.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Conflict resolution and difficult conversation skills, with the ability to lead and effectively resolve disputes with trade contractors/supervisors.Strong ability to coach and mentor.Strong capability for adopting new technology.Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) level II or III certification.Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).API (American Petroleum Institute) 510/570/653 inspector preferred.Advanced skills with quality computer applications.Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.The estimated salary range for this role is $90,000 to $117,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
