We are seeking a dedicated and dependable General Laborer to join our manufacturing team for a short term project. In this role, you will perform essential physical tasks to support production operations, ensuring that workflows proceed smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks with precision. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment focused on quality and safety standards.

** This is a short term positions from 07/27-08/04 with the possibility of extension. The hours are from 8am-6pm

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly, packaging, and movement of materials within the manufacturing facility
• Operate basic machinery and tools following safety protocols and manufacturer instructions
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to proper techniques and PPE guidelines
• Operate Scissor Lift when needed
• Assist with cleaning steal beams up to 36 feet height
• Clean steal beams at heights up to 36 feet
• Assit with painting steel beams
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas to promote a safe and organized environment
• Support inventory management through proper handling and storage of materials
• Follow established safety standards in production processes to prevent accidents
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently and correctly during all tasks
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals efficiently

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing or general labor roles is preferred but not mandatory
• Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with basic tools is advantageous
• Understanding of safety standards in production environments
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
