Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients dealing with chronic pain, utilizing advanced methodologies to assist in diagnoses and treatment planning.
• Design and implement personalized treatment programs that may include a combination of non-operative spine care, orthopedic interventions, and advanced therapeutic techniques.
• Prescribe appropriate interventions and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on outcomes and patient feedback.
• Engage with patients in a compassionate manner, providing education on pain management strategies and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and quality of life.
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development, taking advantage of in-depth training opportunities, including a fellowship program that spans 3 to 9 months, designed specifically for NPs and PAs.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring a high level of communication not just among healthcare providers but also with patients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on serving patients in rural areas within a two-hour radius of the Fort Worth area. Our center aims to bridge healthcare gaps for those who may otherwise have limited access to pain management services. By providing care in these communities, you will play a critical role in addressing the unique challenges faced by our patient population, including socioeconomic factors influencing health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a Bachelor’s Degree and a Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner Studies.
• A strong commitment to serving rural populations is essential, accompanied by a passion for improving patient outcomes in chronic pain management.
• Candidates should demonstrate clarity in communication and the ability to connect empathetically with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, functional medicine, spine surgery, or family medicine is highly desirable.
• A background in developing treatment plans and managing patient cohorts through complex care scenarios will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
