A leading manufacturing company is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk to join their team. This on-site role is a 6 month Contract to Hire opportunity in Sussex, WI. If you’re detail-oriented and experienced in warehouse operations, this role offers a great chance to support a busy machine shop environment.
Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package products according to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Receive, verify, and inspect incoming materials, ensuring counts and part numbers match documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickups and resolve delivery issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs, supporting traceability.
- Support inventory movements, documentation, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in inventory management and shipping/receiving operations.
- Familiarity with inventory accuracy practices, referencing purchase orders, and resolving shortages or damages.
- Experience working in metal manufacturing, shipping, or warehouse environments preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment safely; forklift certification is a plus.

Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
