Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
• Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in patient management.
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders, document outcomes, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and families, promote adherence to care plans, and maintain accurate, complete clinical documentation.

Requirements

• Ability to provide ICU-level inpatient nursing care and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work day shifts on a 12-hour schedule and manage a 48-hour workweek.

• Prior ICU or high-acuity care experience is preferred; applicable nursing competencies aligned with critical care are expected.
