Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Modified Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3rd shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing License: Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC Certifications: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: Cardiac Telemetry Care experience Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The Registered Nurse incorporates essential functions adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. Experience working with a diverse patient population including those with myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, strokes, stable arrhythmias, and any other patients needing closer cardiac monitoring and assessment is required. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice is essential for this role.
