What You’ll Do Lead and oversee all aspects of the Stroke Program, ensuring high-quality, guideline-driven careCollaborate with medical directors and interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomesDevelop, implement, and monitor evidence-based stroke protocolsAnalyze patient data and lead quality improvement initiativesEnsure regulatory compliance and certification readinessProvide education to staff, patients, families, and the communityFacilitate research efforts and continuous learning within the programDrive program sustainability through reporting, evaluation, and innovation What You Bring Required: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related fieldRegistered Nurse (RN) license in Washington/MSLMinimum: 4 years in a healthcare setting2 years in stroke or neuroscience careExperience educating clinicians or leading training initiativesCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsNIH Stroke Scale Certification (within 6 months) Preferred: Master’s degree in a related fieldProgram leadership or management experienceClinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner credential Skills: Strong leadership and team-building abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentKnowledge of national and state stroke guidelinesData analysis and quality improvement expertiseExcellent communication and relationship-building skills Life in Vancouver, Washington Located along the Columbia River, Vancouver offers the best of the Pacific Northwest lifestyle: Easy access to Portland’s vibrant culture, just minutes awayExceptional outdoor recreation including hiking, skiing, and water sportsA family-friendly community with excellent schools and neighborhoodsNo state income tax and a lower cost of living than many major West Coast cities This is a place where you can build a meaningful career and enjoy a balanced life surrounded by natural beauty.
