Position Summary We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team. This role works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider and supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The LPN will operate within the scope of their licensure while collaborating across clinical and administrative teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Provide direct, individualized nursing care under the supervision of an RN or Provider Assist with patient and family education Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans Participate in team meetings and care coordination discussions Prepare, administer, and document medications in accordance with policy Assist in emergency situations as needed Prepare patients for examinations, including physical and gynecological exams Collect and document patient information accurately in the EHR Perform in-house lab tests and screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) per protocol Supervise and support Medical Assistants during clinical procedures Maintain compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards Follow infection control protocols and assist with staff training on equipment Provide float coverage to other centers as needed Assist with onboarding and training of new team members Maintain required CEUs and pursue ongoing professional development Support TFHC’s mission, vision, and values in all interactions Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program Active and unrestricted LPN license in the State of Florida Current BLS certification Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred Skills & Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment High attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols Commitment to delivering patient-centered care Flexibility to support multiple locations as needed Benefits & Rewards Tampa Family Health Centers offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial well-being, and work-life balance: Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective after 90 days of employment Life insurance Long-term disability insurance after one year of employment 401(k) with employer contribution after one year Employee discount program (travel, entertainment, and more) Opportunities for professional development and career growth Why Join Tampa Family Health Centers?
