Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Virginia License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Med/Surg or PCU experience BLS certification Virginia nursing license Description: Inpatient rehabilitation unit with 35 beds. Patient ratios are typically 5-7 patients per nurse. Staffing includes 2-4 techs based on census. Equipped with vital signs machines, IV pumps, SCDs, and bladder scanners. Uses Meditech for documentation. Requires 12-hour shifts with every other weekend. May involve floating to other medical-surgical departments. Rehab experience is preferred. Advanced skills are not necessary. Required procedures include medication administration, IVs, PICC lines, PEG tube administration, bladder scans, trach care, tube feeding, Foley catheter placement, bladder irrigation, and blood administration. Dress code is navy blue or white solid scrubs. Join a collaborative multi-disciplinary team that includes nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and neuropsychology.
