About the Role
The Company is seeking a Group Director of Medical Strategy - SVP to lead in the pursuit of medical excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for team growth, client relationships, and the provision of strategic insights. This role demands a high level of expertise in multiple medical areas, with the ability to translate complex information into effective brand strategies. The Group Director will also be instrumental in driving business development, medical research, and innovation, as well as fostering talent and expanding the department. A typical day in this role involves critically reviewing and enhancing medical content, staying abreast of industry trends, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the achievement of brand objectives. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a clinical or scientific field, at least 9 years of relevant industry experience, and a proven track record in leadership and team management. Key requirements include excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a strong background in developing and delivering strategic medical communications. The role also requires the ability to drive brand strategy, adapt to changing priorities, and identify growth opportunities, as well as financial and operational acumen related to departmental management.
