Business Analyst I

Duration: 6 Month Location: Bridgewater, NJ

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Business SME to develop the Process Definition Document (work instructions at a keystroke level) and gather all other process relevant artifacts
  • Socialize the PDD with the multiple teams and be the single point of contact for all process related queries
  • Identify quick-win process efficiencies and standardization opportunities; Incorporate into documentation post agreement with process owners and lead configurators
  • Building the test scenarios; Work with test case development team to create and maintain inventory of test cases
  • Track, monitor and support the configuration build and updates across environment – UAT / Pre-prod / Prod. Support the configuration unit testing in all phases as required
  • Review and consolidate the UAT results and create a review package for SME approval
  • Provide root cause analysis support in investigating test outputs
  • Generate Management insights to optimize and enhance Automation success
  • Monitor the robots in the production, pre-production and test environment.
  • Liaison with IT and support teams to ensure robots are productive.
  • Analyzing changes to the production environment and assessing impact to our robots.
  • Monitor and Support planned changes to systems & processes our virtual workforce operate in.
  • Solving issues that arise in the day to day running of RPA processes and assisting in the provision of timely responses and solutions as required.
  • Validates new RPA processes and objects using documented standards and best practices.
  • Validates and tests RPA processes and objects for projects of moderate complexity and scope.
  • Prepares validation document for RPA processes and objects used in projects of moderate complexity and scope.
  • Participates in post- implementation reviews of both RPA artifact content and process to maximize and share learning.
  • Drives the roll-out of process during testing, pre-production and production phases
  • Debug production and testing issues; and provide inputs to configuration team.
  • May mentor more junior staff
  • Reviews RPA artifacts from team and vendor consultants
  • Performs related duties as assigned or requested

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
  • Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation
  • The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an enquiring mind.
  • 2+ years of related work experience

Required:

  • A basic understanding of business processes. Capable of analyzing a process.
  • An enquiring mind, good at problem solving.
  • Good inter-personal communication skills – able to explain issues to a support partners and follow instructions accurately.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
  • An understanding of, and a willingness to adhere to, formal change control procedures and disciplines.
  • An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error.
  • Overall understanding of networking principles and Active Directory.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Technology (VB .NET, Windows, Internet Explorer, SQL Server, Web Services)
