Project Accountant

Kforce's client in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Project Accountant. Responsibilities:

• Project-based accounting functions such as pay-when-paid Accounts Payable
• Support Project Leads in completing Accounts Receivable in timely manner
• Collect all necessary lien waivers and assist in completing the documentation for invoices to be delivered to clients
• Perform comprehensive weekly cash analysis and present
• Perform other accounting tasks such as bank deposits, process expense reimbursement reports
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist in month-end procedures to ensure timely closing of financial statements
• Participate in cross training with other team members to ensure seamless transition between different entities
• Work with members across the organization to streamline processes and procedures
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role or a current college attendee
• Must be a highly motivated individual who enjoys working on a team that embraces continuous improvement and growth
• Excellent computer knowledge and proficiency in Excel. Experience using QuickBooks is a plus
• Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to respond clearly, quickly, and effectively
• Must be organized, dependable and detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Viewpoint Vista experience preferred
• Construction experience preferred
• Knowledge of financial terms and principles
