Title
Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Schedule
Shift: 3 x 12-hour Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
Weekend Requirement: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience required
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with Epic charting preferred
- Comfortable with 1:5 patient ratio
- Experience in cardiac/telemetry monitoring, IV care, and neuro stepdown preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a progressive care environment.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.

Compliance / Notes
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed; additional requires approval.
- Orientation: 12 hours required.
- Complete pre-start training modules, including Epic, one week prior to start date.
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
