Job Description
Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3 x 12-hour shifts with rotating call up to seven days per 4-week schedule.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will work in the pre and post-recovery area, providing care for patients undergoing various cardiac procedures, including diagnostic heart catheterizations and PCI. The role involves circulating, providing sedation, and completing documentation while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Circulate for procedures in the Cath Lab while monitoring patient care.
• Administer sedation and manage patient recovery post-procedure.
• Complete necessary documentation and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Assist physicians and collaborate with Cath Lab team members effectively.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of one year of experience in a Cath Lab or related role.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with sterile technique and familiarity with EKOS preferred but not mandatory.
• Active RN license required.
