Every other weekend and some holiday coverage required. Four 12-hour shifts per week available for interested candidates. Highlights: Join an 11-bed acuity-adaptable burn and critical care unit at a Level One Trauma Center and the state's only ACS-verified Adult and Pediatric Burn Center Work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team caring for adult and pediatric patients with burns, complex wounds, and critical care needs Epic charting system utilized; previous Epic experience required Patient ratio of 2:1 across all shifts; interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more 20 hours of orientation provided; Magnet-designated facility recognized as a leading hospital and teaching institution No burn care experience necessary, though traveler may be assigned to burn patients Requirements: Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state RN license Minimum 2 years of acute care ICU experience within the last 3 years in the specialty Previous travel nursing experience required Epic charting system experience required Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association only); PALS preferred Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam prior to start (strict passing criteria apply) Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a prestigious, Magnet-designated hospital that is ranked as the state's top hospital and recognized nationally for excellence in patient care and education.
