Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (no internal medicine or family practice)
• Valid MA State Medical License
• DEA Certification in MA
• ACLS Certification
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency medicine experience
• Ability to see 2.5 to 3 patients per hour
• Experience in community, rural, or critical access hospital settings preferred

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with Epic EMR or similar charting systems
• Familiarity with pediatric care, given 14% pediatric volume
• Comfort working independently with limited onsite specialty support

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Prior experience in rural or community emergency departments

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work night shifts (3x12-hour shifts, 7 PM – 7 AM)
• Ability to start by September 2026; credentialing may take 3-4 months
• This position is based in Massachusetts; no travel required, but drive-in preferred as hospital provides housing and ferry reimbursement
