What You'll Bring:

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (no Internal Medicine or Family Practice required)
• Active MA State Medical License
• ACLS Certification
• DEA Registration
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency medicine experience
• Ability to work approximately 10-13 shifts per month over a 3-month assignment
• Comfort managing a variety of patient ages, including pediatrics, with an average of 2.5 to 3 patients per hour
• Experience with Epic EMR system

Additional Skills That Would Shine:

• Experience in rural or community hospital settings
• Adaptability to limited onsite specialty support
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Prior experience in critical access or rural emergency departments
• Ability to work night shifts (evenings and overnights)

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to license in Massachusetts if not already licensed
• Ability to comfortably drive to the hospital location; hospital provides housing and ferry reimbursements when applicable
• Commitment to a 3-4 month credentialing process
