Senior Data Analyst
$50 - $65 per hourKforce
DescriptionKforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking an onsite Senior Data Analyst with 7+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision support. This role focuses on data extraction, ETL development, SQL and Python programming, dashboard creation, and advanced analytics to support leadership decision-making.Key Responsibilities:* Analyze and interpret complex data to identify trends, risks, and actionable insights* Extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources to support reporting and analytics* Develop and maintain SQL queries, ETL processes, data models, and curated datasets* Create dashboards, visualizations, and business intelligence solutions using Power BI and other BI tools* Support ad hoc analysis, recurring reporting, and KPI development* Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear reports and presentations* Ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability through validation and testing* Lead small analytical workstreams, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with client and project stakeholders* Drive process automation and continuous improvement of reporting and analytics capabilitiesRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Business, or a related field* 7+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, business intelligence, data engineering, or related analytical roles* 5+ years of finance or accounting experience* 3+ years of experience with Python (pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, etc.) and advanced DAX/M-language development* Experience with statistical modeling, financial forecasting, and workflow automation* Strong SQL skills and experience with data extraction, ETL processes, data transformation, and integration* Hands-on experience developing datasets, dashboards, and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI* Knowledge of business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization best practices* Ability to perform complex data analysis and present insights to technical and business stakeholders* Experience creating ad hoc and recurring reports, supporting decision-making, and leading small analytical teams or workstreams* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a fast-paced, client-facing environmentJob TypeContractCompensation50 - $65
