Pay Rate Range: $40-50/hr. on W2 ONLY

Length of Assignment: 4 Months Contract to Hire role

Function of the Group: We're responsible for the customer facing and employee facing design systems. That's the most widely used design system. We work on a set of design standards that all of online banking and drives efficiency with the internal development teams that are building.

Industry background: Design System experience/background huge plus.

Roles and Responsibilities: **PLEASE NOTE: Include link to candidates' portfolio with resume**

Primary responsibilities: Create and update documentation and graphics for design docs. Build, fix, and test Figma components. Create dev specs. Design and test Angular components. Collaborate with content and ADA accessibility partners. Stay up to date on competitive analysis of other design systems. Answer help desk questions. Attend or facilitate open office hours. Attend or facilitate early Design Reviews with product designers. Attend or facilitate design system Design Reviews. Attend or facilitate design system governance meetings. Research, audit, and prepare topics for design system governance meetings. Attend or facilitate working sessions across product design teams to align. Work on special projects as requested.

Required Skills & Experience: 1. Product Design: 7+ years of experience in Product, UI, and UX Design, 2. UX Design: 12 years of experience, 3. Figma: 5 years of experience, 4. Wireframing & Prototyping: 14 years of experience, 5. Basic HTML/CSS Knowledge: 16 years of experience, 6. WCAG Accessibility Standards: 5 years of experience, 7. Technical Documentation: 1+ year of experience creating documentation using Confluence or similar wiki platforms, 8. Issue Tracking & Work Management: 1+ year of experience using Jira or similar ticketing systems, 9. Adobe Creative Suite: 3+ years of experience, 10. Design Facilitation & Presentations: 4+ years of experience presenting and facilitating using established design systems, 11. Systems Thinking: Demonstrated ability to understand and design across complex systems, 12. Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills, 13. Detail-oriented approach. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.

FLEX SKILLS: 1. Building/maintaining Design Systems, 2. Component Libraries or Design Systems

Education/Certifications: Will look at experience in lieu of education, Experience design bootcamps a plus.
