Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Location: Terre Haute, IN
Compensation: Open to discuss + Benefits

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team. QC Lab Technicians work in a variety of laboratory settings where they ensure quality and safety of products, raw materials, and manufacturing processes. Technicians are often responsible for performing tests, recording results, and reporting findings to relevant departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.    Responsible for conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality performance.

2.    Collecting and preparing samples for testing (pH, moisture, protein, fat, ash, and viscosity).

3.    Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and tools.

4.    Recording, evaluating test data to issued specification.

5.    Performing routine calibration on testing equipment.

6.    Responds and reacts to the detection of anomalies and deviations in operation or procedure (performing instrument and method troubleshooting).

7.    Responsible for documenting and communication of Quality Alert incidents.

8.    Responsible for reading, understanding and following issued Standard Operating Procedure.

9.    Maintains Quality records per company SOP.

Supervisory Responsibilities:       

Not Required.

Education and/or Experience:  

•    Minimum 3 – 5 years' experience in a quality control food manufacturing environment

•    Currently pursuing a higher education preferred

•    Excellent interpersonal and good communication skills.

•    Limited Problem-Solving training a plus
