MV Ventures is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and passionate candidate to serve as Leasing Agent for the 483+-unit luxury community, unrivaled in the Twin Cities market. In addition to managing all facets of the leasing process, this individual will support the daily operation of the community. The successful Leasing Agent will be instrumental in the growth of Viking Lakes Residences, which is planned to expand to over 600 residences.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate and complete prospective resident tours, highlighting community features and closing salesCollaborate leasing feedback with management and property leasing system regarding leasing feedbackTake lead as the first point of contact for resident questions, comments, or concernsAssist prospective residents during application process to move-in and beyondSchedule and perform move-in orientations on or prior to lease start date with new residents to help them acclimate to their new homeManage lead management software to ensure that tasks are completed timelyConsistently complete all prospect and resident inquiries received via office phone, in person conversations, or alternative communication methodsProvide a warm welcome to those who walk in the door by standing, greeting, and introducing yourself at the beginning of the interaction with a friendly demeanorConduct daily building walks to ensure that the property is in great condition, report any findingsMonitor and assist with residents moving into our community, ensuring apartments are move-in readyMaintain resident retention by delivering exceptional service to residents and exceeding expectationsAssist with resident renewals, resident events, move out processing, and light maintenance dutiesAssist residents with maintenance requests, locating packages, Door™ troubleshooting, and similar dutiesMaintain a clean, professional appearance and attitude at all timesKeep and maintain accurate records and housed in applicable property management systemsMaintain knowledge of local market/competitor conditions. Regularly review competitorsAssist with marketing research and make recommendations based on findingsWork independently, confidently, and share feedback with MV Ventures teamsAvailability to work weekends, evenings, and occasional overtime to meet sales goalsQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this role successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:Strongly preferred 1-3 years’ experience in apartment leasing, real estate sales, or similar experiencePreferred experience with Yardi and/or CRM softwareTECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND OTHER COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:Knowledge or ability to learn and adhere to Federal and State Fair Housing Laws. Show sensitivity to and respect for cultural differencesComfortable/intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office productsOutstanding customer service and organizational skills.
