Your Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient evaluations, order diagnostic tests, and develop individualized care plans
• Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, collaborating with physicians or exercising independent judgment depending on credentials
• Educate patients and their families on prevention measures, wellness, and disease management strategies
• Prescribe medication and treatments according to the scope of your practice
• Engage in patient follow-ups and chronic care management practices
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and integrated patient care
• Accurately document all patient encounters in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Must be a graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Oklahoma
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or the equivalent in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
