We are currently recruiting for a  Director of Rehab (DOR)to join our team!

Duties and Responsibilities:  Director of Rehab (DOR)

• Provides overall coordination of all activities and services provided by the therapy department. 
• Communicates with the interdisciplinary team on the admission of patients/residents requiring skilled rehabilitative services and timeliness of screening process
• Develops, maintains, and supervises other therapy team members’ compliance with effective system of therapy/treatment documentation which conforms to clinical and billing policies and procedures and meets requirements for third party payer documentation and reimbursement.   Reviews and approves billing.
• Oversees the implementation of patient/resident care programs ensuring the effective utilization of therapy procedures and appropriate intensity of services.
• Determines and schedules staff relative to patient/resident needs to achieve therapy clinical and operational benchmarks.  Keeps Administrator and Regional Rehab Manager informed of open positions and recruitment needs
• Provide appropriate treatment to help residents maintain or attain the highest level of function possible within the confines of his/her physical abilities
• Ensures that fiscal, clinical and operational goals are achieved
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications and Skills:  Director of Rehab (DOR)

We are seeking team members who have the following qualifications and skills:

• Current either PT, PTA, OT, OTA certification in the state of  Wisconsin
• Professional enthusiastic attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Shows initiative in daily work
