We are seeking a dedicated individual for a part-time Building Security position providing a uniformed police presence at the Branson Municipal Court.
This P.O.S.T. licensed law enforcement role will help ensure the safety and security of employees and visitors in a vital community role. 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Successful completion of a Certified Law Enforcement Academy. 
• Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri P.O.S.T. Certificate as a condition of employment.
*Those candidates with certifications from other states will be allowed 30 days to receive P.O.S.T. Certification in the state of Missouri after the offer of employment is made. 
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience, municipal security, court security, or related field.

PREFERRED TRAINING
• Possession of CPR and First Aid certificates.

MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS
• Must be at least 21 years of age. 
• Must possess no felony convictions at any time while employed by the City of Branson.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
• Vision must be correctable to 20/40 and pass the Ishihara color vision test and/or be able to recognize the colors of traffic signals and devices showing red, green, and amber.
• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screenings, a background investigation, polygraph, psychological, and medical/physical examinations.

WORK HOURS: Part Time (approx. 20 hours per week); Shift may vary
WORK LOCATION:  City of Branson, Missouri; City Hall. This position requires work to be performed onsite.
