Design Engineer, EU

We are seeking a software engineer who can design and build products with a focus on creating powerful and intuitive user experiences. The role involves tackling complex design challenges, expanding our in‑house design system, and consulting on bespoke solutions. Responsibilities Redesign the mobile web application by gathering customer insights, wireframing new flows, and implementing these designs through our design system. Build flexible, composable components that enable other engineers to create custom auto‑completes with advanced filtering and creation options. Improve other engineers' designs, focusing on information hierarchy and scannability to help recruiters quickly parse candidate assessments. Collaborate across product, design, and engineering to research problems, write product specifications, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions. Qualifications Strong fundamentals in software engineering: debugging, abstractions, and fast learning. Experience with typed languages (e.g., TypeScript) is preferred but not required. Comfortable designing user interfaces and translating them into functional code. Ability to take ownership of projects and work with minimal process oversight.
