Manager of Production Planning and Scheduling

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules that align with business goals and customer demands.
• Coordinate with various departments, including manufacturing, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
• Work with customers to meet customer on time delivery expectations
• Coordinate closely with Operations and Engineering to ensure overall achievement of production plan.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend improvements.
• Develop tools and process to mature the planning function
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Prepare and present reports on production metrics to senior management.
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated aerospace program-management capability.

Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
• Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance management.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing industries.
• Experience with Epicor Manufacturing a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with ISO or other quality management system standards.
