Riverside Lodge Retirement Community in Grand Island, NE, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Cook to join our team. We believe in providing delicious and nutritious meals to our residents while fostering a warm and welcoming dining experience. Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and residents' preferences
- Ensure food is served at the appropriate temperature and in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Assist with meal planning, inventory management, and ordering supplies
- Collaborate with team members to create an enjoyable dining experience for residents
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Prior experience in cooking and food preparation
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary restrictions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for serving seniors with compassion and respect
