Key Responsibilities for the Accountant: Own general ledger activities, including journal entries and account maintenance. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances. Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules. Support month-end and year-end close processes across multiple locations. Assist with cash flow reporting, treasury activities, and inventory accounting. Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and provide meaningful explanations. Support audit requests, documentation preparation, and compliance initiatives. Partner with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting across locations. Qualifications for the Accountant: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations. Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes. Experience preparing balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements. Ability to work effectively in a multi-location business environment. Previous experience in retail, distribution, manufacturing, or similar industries is a plus.
