Step into an impactful school-based role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in the Jacksonville, FL area for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in students’ communication skills while collaborating as part of an educational team from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027.

Key Requirements:

• Active Florida Department of Health SLPA licensure
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an SLPA, including at least 6 months working in a school setting
• Must complete required fingerprinting for credentialing; if previously printed for a Florida school district and available through the AHCA Clearinghouse, a verification process will apply
• Comfortable working on-site (this position does not support virtual/remote work)
• Ability to independently manage a traditional caseload, likely based at one school location

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services to students, helping them achieve their IEP goals
• Work closely with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and other staff to coordinate individualized therapies
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary team members
• Support and motivate students from various age groups throughout the school year
