Job Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics execution in support of Sightline Productions’ national AV production business. This role ensures the accurate prep, staging, transportation, and return of audio-visual equipment across multiple concurrent productions. The Operations Manager drives operational excellence by aligning warehouse workflows with show timelines, maintaining real-time inventory accuracy in IntelliEvent, and coordinating seamlessly with Production, Project Management, and Finance teams. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Lead all warehouse operations supporting multi-city and national event production Oversee equipment prep, staging, testing, and packaging for shows Manage de-prep processes to ensure accurate check-in, QC, and restocking Maintain department-based organization (Audio, Video, Lighting, LED, Rigging) Drive continuous improvement of warehouse workflows and efficiency Show Logistics & Execution Own logistics planning for all equipment movement across projects Ensure alignment between IntelliEvent orders, pull sheets, and physical inventory Coordinate trucking, shipping, and routing for local and national shows Manage cross-rent (subrental) logistics including vendor coordination and PO tracking Execute high-pressure “quick turns” with accuracy and speed Systems & Operational Integration Maintain accurate, real-time inventory and job data within IntelliEvent Track availability, allocations, subrentals, and equipment status Partner with Project Managers using Monday.com to track project workflows, deadlines, and resource needs Support visibility across prep, logistics, and execution phases Labor & Crew Management Forecast and schedule warehouse labor based on production demand Manage prep and de-prep crews to meet strict show timelines Hire and oversee freelance/contract labor during peak periods Coordinate driver schedules for deliveries and returns Optimize labor utilization while maintaining high-quality output Inventory Management & Equipment Quality Ensure 100% accuracy of inventory records within IntelliEvent Maintain organization, labeling, and proper storage of all AV equipment Enforce quality control standards before and after each show Collaborate with department leads to ensure equipment readiness Conduct cycle counts and audits to minimize loss and discrepancies Equipment Repair & Lifecycle Management Manage repair and quarantine workflows for damaged equipment Coordinate vendor repairs and manufacturer servicing Maintain organized repair area with proper tools and testing equipment Track lifecycle and performance of assets to inform purchasing decisions Transportation & Fleet Management Manage company vehicles (box trucks, vans) used for equipment transport Coordinate preventative maintenance, inspections, and compliance Arrange rental trucks and freight services for large-scale productions Oversee efficient truck packing and load planning Facility, Safety & Security Maintain a clean, safe, and production-ready warehouse environment Ensure compliance with safety standards and equipment handling procedures Oversee warehouse security systems and access control Protect high-value AV inventory through best practices and oversight Key Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience in AV production, live events, or technical operations Strong knowledge of AV equipment (audio, video, lighting, LED, rigging) Experience with IntelliEvent or similar rental/inventory platforms Experience with project/workflow tools (e.g., Monday.com) Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, job costing) Proven leadership experience managing warehouse and technical teams Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure production environments Working Environment Fast-paced, deadline-driven live event production environment Extended hours, nights, and weekends based on show schedules Hands‑on operational role within warehouse and logistics environments #J-18808-Ljbffr
