Physician Assistant

Role Summary: Provides patient care in collaboration with physicians, demonstrating autonomy through evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Orders tests, interprets results, and prescribes medications within the physician assistant scope, working with nursing and staff. Responsibilities include triage, patient education, and effective communication with patients and healthcare team. Key Duties Assess patients, establish presumptive diagnoses, and develop treatment plans. Accurately document in electronic medical records, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe evidence-based therapies. Adjust or discontinue medications as appropriate and report significant findings to the physician. Perform procedures within licensed scope and communicate with the healthcare team via phone or other methods. Provide safe, ethical care and health education, acting as patient advocate in a language they understand. Follow policies, procedures, and guidelines to meet organizational goals and deadlines. Qualifications & Skills: Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies is required. Must be capable of autonomous patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and procedures within scope of practice.
