Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanics Needed Salary: $30 - $38 per hour We have more than three decades of experience as a privately owned baking company founded on our commitment to quality ingredients and outstanding service. Our state‑of‑the‑art facility accommodates customizable baking equipment, enabling us to produce the finest quality products and meet customer needs. This full‑time position requires a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Responsibilities Conduct preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Perform electromechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve any issues with equipment. Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment‑related issues that may impact production schedules. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory levels. Assist in the development and implementation of new maintenance procedures and protocols to improve overall equipment reliability and efficiency. Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in a maintenance technician role, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical and mechanical components. Experience with electromechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with others. High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
