Human Resources Specialist

Job Description Responsible for responding to general associate inquiries about human resources programs, procedures, and policies. Serves as the initial point of contact for HR inquiries for the workforce (Tier 1 support). Assist functional teams daily to ensure all customer requests are handled in a timely and confidential manner. Licenses / Certifications Human Resources PHR or SHRM-CP required. Qualifications Education Level: High School Diploma Experience: 3 years of related experience Customer service experience, HR onboarding experience, or experience as an HR technician/analyst/generalist Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and independently Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation, benefits, employee relations, immigration, performance management, federal and state employment laws Strong acumen with systems, data, and reporting Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) Fast-paced environment with changing priorities, ability to face ambiguity and rapid change Additional Skills HR experience from Healthcare Insurance Claims industry supporting employee relations, recruitment, corrective action.
