Junior Special Litigation, Investigations, and Compliance Associate

Overview The practice group represents corporations and individuals in investigations conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Attorneys’ Offices, congressional committees, and other federal and state regulatory agencies. The role includes compliance counseling on government contracts, campaign finance, lobbying disclosure, and related issues. Experience on Capitol Hill, at the Department of Justice, another government agency, or another law firm is preferred. Snell & Wilmer’s Washington, D.C. office seeks to hire a junior associate with two to four years of experience to join its Special Litigation, Investigations, and Compliance practice group that represents corporations and individuals in investigations conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Attorneys’ Offices, congressional committees, and other federal and state regulatory agencies. This role will also include compliance counseling on government contracts, campaign finance, lobbying disclosure, and related issues. Experience on Capitol Hill, at the DOJ or another government agency, or at another law firm preferred. Strong academic credentials required. Admission to the D.C. Bar or eligibility to waive in required. This is a full-time, partnership-track position that is eligible to participate in the firm’s benefit plans, including our 401K Profit Sharing and Savings Plan with discretionary employer contribution, and is eligible for consideration for annual discretionary bonuses. The annual base salary range for candidates placed in Washington D.C. is expected to be $220,000-$250,000, depending on experience.
