About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to play a pivotal role in the growth and structuring of its integrated, high-performing operating platform. The COO will be responsible for connecting and leading the various functions of the real estate lifecycle, including acquisitions, development, construction, asset management, and property management. This executive will ensure that the enterprise meets its goals for deal execution, portfolio growth, and operational sustainability. Key responsibilities for the COO include serving as the operational counterpart to the CEO, building the necessary infrastructure for scaling, and driving cross-functional alignment to eliminate inefficiencies. The successful candidate will also lead the company's EOS framework, fostering organizational clarity, execution discipline, and alignment with strategic priorities. Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 10-15 years' of experience in real estate operations, particularly in the areas of affordable housing, development, construction, and property and asset management. A proven track record of scaling operations, managing high project volumes, and experience in implementing and leading EOS or similar operating systems is essential. The role requires a deep understanding of the full real estate lifecycle, strong leadership and organizational design experience, and a history of assembling and leading successful teams. The COO will be evaluated based on key performance indicators such as the successful delivery of projects, lease-up velocity, portfolio performance, and the effectiveness of EOS execution.
