Join our established Allergy & Immunology Practice as a Registered Nurse, where you will play a vital role in patient care and support within a collaborative healthcare team. This full-time position involves working with electronic health records and providing essential services such as patient assessments, vaccination administration, and allergy injections. You will also be involved in educating patients on asthma medications and participating in specialized training to manage anaphylaxis reactions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Take patient vitals and assist with patient rooming
• Administer vaccines and allergy injections
• Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently
• Prepare prior authorizations as required
• Educate patients on asthma and allergy medications
• Participate in training exercises for anaphylaxis response
• Respond to routine monitoring, educational sessions, and emergency situations
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurse managers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in nursing
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Experience with vaccine administration and injection techniques
• Knowledge of allergy and asthma medications
• Ability to respond to anaphylaxis emergencies
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Teamwork and attention to detail
