RN - ER Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 11.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in emergency room nursing License: Active nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (mandatory) Must-Have: Ventilator experience Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Good written and verbal communication skills.Awareness of possible float to intensive care and medical surgical units.Must work every other weekend and holidays. Description: Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing and interpreting serious situations.Prioritize and take appropriate action.Initiate measures in emergency situations when the physician is not immediately available.Operate and monitor emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician, including medications and IV therapy that affect hemodynamic status and respiratory therapy.Document observations, nursing interventions, and the status of coordinated activities.Plan and develop care delivery while coordinating documentation.Share responsibilities for sustaining adequate supplies and equipment.Preserve a safe environment within the unit. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
