Job Summary for RN ER (Emergency Room Registered Nurse) Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Level 3) Location: Rochester, NY Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week, rotating day/evening/night shifts; may include floating to other units, weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities as needed. Duration: 17-week assignment (09/14/2026 01/09/2027) Setting: Fast-paced adult Emergency Department in a Level I trauma center, managing over 100,000 visits per year. Patient Population: Diverse adult patients, including trauma and boarder patients. Environment: High-volume, state-of-the-art facility; one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. Licensure: Active NY RN license required. Experience Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience Previous travel ER experience required (not suitable for first-time travelers) Telemetry experience required Certifications BLS (American Heart Association only) ACLS (American Heart Association only) NIHSS certification Other Requirements Must be able to work D/E/N rotating shifts and float as needed Must be able to obtain TB skin test Must live at least 50 miles from URMC (if applicable) Preferred Experience with EPIC documentation system within the last year Additional Notes Must be available for interview and able to start on specified date; readiness to answer questions about availability, requested time off (RTO), and shift flexibility. #J-18808-Ljbffr vTech Solution
