About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Accounting to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all accounting operations across the firm's real estate portfolio, including corporate, fund, and property-level accounting. This role involves overseeing the preparation of financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and managing the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. The SVP will also be tasked with establishing and maintaining internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures, as well as overseeing accounting related to development projects, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing activities. As the firm continues to grow, the Senior Vice President of Accounting will be expected to support executive leadership with financial insights, reporting, and operational decision-making. Additionally, the role includes managing relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar leadership role, with the ability to lead, mentor, and expand the accounting team. A strong background in real estate accounting, a deep understanding of financial regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are essential for this position.
