Compliance Applied AI/ML Lead VP

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for 6+ years of related experience using Python, R, or Scala, paired with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Econometrics, Statistics, or another quantitative field.
• We need strong theoretical and applied knowledge of machine learning methods and/or statistical models.
• We require practical experience with relevant packages, algorithms, and graph-learning tools such as NetworkX, Torch-Geometric, Graphframes, Graphistry, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, CatBoost, LightGBM, AutoML, Optuna, Hyperopt, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Geopandas.
• We expect hands-on experience with LLM prompt engineering and open-source LLM fine-tuning for a specific domain.
• We value experience developing agentic solutions and improving consistency and reliability in agent behavior.
• We need professional experience in software development, especially with analytically and computationally intensive systems and cloud-enabled digital transformation using AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, or similar technologies.
• We look for experience building and operationalizing data pipelines.
• We require familiarity with consolidating large datasets from multiple databases, turning them into actionable outputs, following a standardized analysis and project methodology, and documenting quantitative work.
• A postgraduate degree such as a Masters or PhD is preferred.
• Working knowledge of C, C#, C++, or similar languages is a plus.
• Exposure to Agile SDLC, ModelOps, and/or Design Thinking is desirable.
• Familiarity with natural language processing techniques is a plus.
• We value self-starters with strong influencing and communication skills.
• Experience in financial services or in a highly regulated environment with exposure to process, controls, and governance is preferred.

• We assess business requirements and design appropriate methodologies.
• We build scalable, effective, and deployable models and analytical methods for technology-managed systems or self-service business applications.
• We collaborate closely with data scientists, technology partners, risk professionals, model validation teams, and other stakeholders.
• We prepare technical documentation for quantitative models to support internal model risk and governance review.
• We devise and develop proofs of concept and deployable models using AI/ML, algorithms, and other statistical and numerical methods.
• We extract, integrate, and transform large structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources into analysis-ready pipelines.
• We independently define methodologies and tackle quantitative and analytical work derived from business challenges.
