2nd Shift Assembly

Primary Objective of Position:
To prepare coils for the final stages of building and testing to meet quality specifications.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
1\. Adhere to safety policies and procedures to include proper use of required PPE.
2\. Bend, shape, cut, and solder wires/lugs.
3\. Attach wires using lugs/crimps.
4\. Perform sanding of wires as part of preparation process.
5\. Pull lead wires and sleeving.
6\. Use pneumatic/hydraulic crimping tools.
7\. Utilize lift assistance to handle products weighing more than 50 pounds.
8\. Participate in physical inventory activities.
9\. Meet established efficiency and productivity standards.
10\. Maintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards.
11\. Additional or updated duties as business demands change.

Qualifications:
1\. Good verbal communication skills.
2\. Ability to read and interpret specifications, plans, drawings, shop aids, instructions, and examples.
3\. Good time management skills with the ability to organize work.
4\. Self-motivation skills.
5\. High level of organization.
6\. Ability to solder.
7\. Problem solving skills.

Experience:
Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands:
1\. Working at a fast pace.
2\. Standing or walking for long periods of time.
3\. Manually handling up to 10 pounds often by lift/push/pull.
4\. Manually handling up to 50 pounds occasionally by lift/push/pull.
5\. Working with the various distractions of a manufacturing environment.
6\. Extensive work with hands requiring good hand dexterity and repetitive motions.
7\. Bending, stooping, reaching occasionally.
8\. Work in a small, narrow space.

Rate is $15/hr. w/$2 2nd shift diff

1st shift training: 6A-2:30P
2nd shift- 3P-11:30P

This is a 2nd shift job. Training is on 1st shift. Shift differential of $2/hr will be added after training and upon move to 2nd shift.
