Having been around for over fifteen years, our client provides the resources necessary for their team members to excel and reach their career goals in the communications industry.Position Summary: Anistar is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Service Technician to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as A/V equipment. MUST be comfortable working from a lift.Requirements:Strong experience troubleshooting, terminating, and testing fiber optic cablesProficiency with Corning Unicam fiber termination (preferred)Experience with fusion splicing and/or anaerobic fiber termination methodsDemonstrated ability to locate fiber faults and effectively repair issuesWorking knowledge of analog POTS lines, including using a butt set to trace and verify dial toneExperience supporting fax machines and alarm panelsAbility to diagnose and resolve service-related issues independently in the fieldStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel occasionally (covering a 2-3 hour radius, staying out of town 1-2 days at a time maybe 1-2 times a month)Preferred / Bonus Skills:Experience with CCTV systemsKnowledge of access control systemsFamiliarity with paging systemsExperience with A/V systems or other low-voltage technologiesAnistar PAYS YOU for referrals!!!!!!!!
