Title: RN – Cath Lab

Location: Syracuse, New York

Duration: 14 Weeks (High possibility of extension)

Schedule: Day Shift | 40 Hours Per Week

Pay: $68 - $77/hour

Shift Options:

• 4x10-Hour Shifts (Typically 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

• 3x12-Hour Shifts (Varies by rotation)

On-Call Requirement: 9–10 days per month, including weekends and holiday coverage

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The RN will provide specialized nursing care during cardiac procedures, assist with sedation and circulating duties, and support patients throughout pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and recovery phases.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab

• Assist with circulating and sedation duties during procedures

• Support interventional cardiology procedures and patient care

• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor recovery

• Assess and respond to changes in patient condition

• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and healthcare teams

• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR

• Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled

• Ensure patient safety during invasive cardiac procedures

• Follow established cardiac care protocols and standards

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York State RN License

• Current BLS Certification

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience within the last 2 years

• Experience in hospitals of similar size or trauma centers

• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Cath Lab experience

• Level I Trauma Center experience

• EPIC EMR experience

• Circulating and conscious sedation experience

• Cardiac pre-op and recovery experience
