This individual will work with the HR Director to support the Phoenix Mecano North America employees in Frederick, MD and Chino, CA. This position provides meaningful HR work without a traditional 40-hour workweek. Regular availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays is required while daily start and end times may be adjusted to fit individual needs and business requirements. Part time hourly position. Salary based on experience: $28-$31 per hour. Phoenix Mecano is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Human Resources Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This role serves as a key resource for employees and managers by maintaining HR records, administering benefits, supporting recruiting and onboarding activities, managing HRIS data, coordinating training initiatives. Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files and records Administer tasks in the HRIS (Paylocity) including: job postings, offer letters, print performance reviews, employee change notices, etc. Support benefits administration maintenance, enrollment, issue resolution and employee questions. Support onboarding efforts: follow-up on new hire paperwork, background checks, pre-employment screenings, and internal preparation for a new employee's first day.
