Finance Director

As a Finance Director, you will be a key strategic business partner to the Division’s General Manager and the ANZ management team. You will drive financial performance, profitability, and sustainable growth for the portfolio, ensuring operational excellence and robust financial governance across the ANZ market.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnering

• Provide financial leadership to support the division’s ambitious growth agenda.
• Analyze market trends and competitor performance to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Drive P&L management, forecasting, and budgeting processes for all brands in the division across ANZ region.

Commercial Performance & Growth

• Lead the financial evaluation of investment opportunities, new product launches, and brand activations.
• Optimize trade spend and commercial margins by working closely with the sales and marketing teams.
• Oversee the management of Working Capital and ensure inventory health across the distribution network.

Financial Control & Governance

• Maintain rigorous financial discipline and ensure full compliance with Group internal control standards.
• Manage monthly closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Champion financial digital transformation and efficiency projects within the division.

Leadership & People Management

• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and agility.
• Collaborate across the broader ANZ Finance function to share best practices and drive organizational synergy.

Core Competencies

• Strategic Agility: Ability to translate financial data into clear business strategy.
• Business Acumen: Deep understanding of the beauty/dermatological market landscape.
• Leadership: Strong ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead change.
• Analytical Rigor: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data sets.

Requirements

• Proven track record in financial leadership roles within a complex, multinational environment (FMCG or Beauty sector preferred).
• Strong understanding of ANZ market dynamics.
• Relevant degree (Accounting/Finance/Economics) and professional qualification (CA/CPA/CIMA).
• Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and advanced financial modeling tools.
