The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong commitment to patient well-being, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. Duties Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care by preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies. Perform vital signs assessments, including measuring blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate. Support patients in understanding their treatment plans and provide education on medication administration, including inhalation techniques for respiratory therapies. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain up-to-date medical histories. Experience Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role Familiarity with electronic health records (eClinicalWorks) required Basic life support certification is required; additional certifications such as EKG and Phlebotomy Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
