Jira Administrator/Developer

Jira Administrator/Developer – Dearborn, MI (Contract) We are seeking a Jira Administrator / Developer with strong expertise in Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management (JSM), Jira Product Discovery (JPD), and Assets. In this role, you will support, manage, and advance Atlassian platform portfolio, ensuring scalability, stability, and continuous improvement of the enterprise Atlassian ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Configure and customize Jira workflows, screens, fields, and issue types Optimize Atlassian tools to support enterprise-scale usage Manage Atlassian Marketplace applications (evaluation, security, performance) Provide strategic input on platform improvements and long-term roadmap Support Jira Cloud migration initiatives and troubleshooting efforts Manage users, groups, roles, and permission schemes across Atlassian products; ensure proper access control and compliance with audit requirements Build integrations between Atlassian tools and external systems using APIs; develop automation rules, workflows, and scripts (Python/Shell preferred) Monitor platform performance and resolve technical issues; identify and address system bottlenecks; continually improve platform efficiency and reliability Document platform standards, governance, and best practices; conduct training sessions, office hours, and user enablement activities; drive adoption of Atlassian tools across the enterprise Required Skills Jira Administration (Cloud) Jira Service Management (JSM) Jira Product Discovery (JPD) Jira Assets (Insight) Strong Jira workflow/configuration experience Atlassian Cloud platform administration REST API integration experience Preferred Skills Python or Shell scripting Atlassian API development experience GitHub / DevOps exposure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) familiarity Atlassian Marketplace app management Experience with cloud migration projects Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP – preferred) Experience & Qualifications 6–10 years IT experience Minimum 4+ years in Atlassian platform administration/development Bachelor's degree required Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Ability to work across global teams and time zones Pay Range: $61.00 - $66.00 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr Stefanini, Inc
